As someone who has grown up in the folk scene, I am passionate about sharing my love for folk dancing and enjoyment of folk music.

Being inclusive and accessible is central to my dance calling philosophy as I believe that’s the best way for more people to discover and fall in love with folk dancing. This is why I use gender neutral calls when I teach dances, so that everyone feels included and they can choose to dance with whomever they want.

Having been surrounded by folk dancing my whole life, I’ve grown up bush dancing, Irish step dancing and performing at numerous folk festivals. For example, called for multiple dances at Woodford Folk Festival, the National Folk Festival and Melany Music Festival. These experiences have enabled me to build up a repertoire and expertise in folk dancing that can greatly support and adapt to the needs of the beginning dancers as well as experienced dancers, that I’m calling for.

I’m confident in calling for both small and large scale dances and will always adjust the dance program accordingly.
